As we focus this monthon the HEAL piece of CHRIA, another tool I developed will help you quickly de-activate your nervous system from getting overstimulated.

Use it any time you feel yourself becoming agitated or reactive. It will be difficult at first to stop yourself in the heat of the moment, but with practice this will become almost second nature.

STICA will make a huge difference in your day-to-day stress levels as it interrupts that stress cycle.

  • Practice it once/day for practice for 1-2 weeks. To start, choose a recent experience where you feel you're "blown it." Go through the STICA steps, perhaps journaling about it. Once you feel you know the STICA steps, try to use it in the present about something that's bothering you. Bring any questions you have about it to the Coaching Call.
